"Hands to Work, Hearts to God". I had been wanting to design another needlebook, this time with a scissor pocket that can hold a small pair of embroidery scissors, and in a pocket where the scissor won't poke through fabric, for example. So, this needlebook has just such a pocket – a small vinyl pocket, but camouflaged with a pretty wool appliquéd cover (see photos of the inside pages). The needlebook also includes a small pocket for a tapestry needle threader. There are four pages for the needle minders, labelled with different needle categories – Chenilles, Embroidery, Tapestry and Sharps. I've included in the instructions optional lettering to substitute Betweens and/or Straw needles, if preferred.

Select threads to match or coordinate with wool colors. The threads I used, Aurifil Lana wool thread and Valdani 6 strand floss are listed in the instructions, with the comparable colors for DMC embroidery floss also included.
