New Patterns!
I hope you're having a wonderful summer and are enjoying some summer stitching!
I'm excited to have released six new patterns, the Little Quilts from the Prairie collection, made with my newest fabric line for Henry Glass Fabrics, A Prairie Journal! These are all small pieced quilts, and for me, it was a nice break from making larger quilts!
Each of the patterns is available on our website, and for now, are offered as downloadable PDF patterns only. We are out of stock on many of the prints, but there are several online retailers which carry the A Prairie Journal line of fabrics, if you would like to make the quilts using identical fabrics. Of course, you can make any of the quilts using alternate fabrics!

Wagons West Quilt Shop & Studio
We will soon be celebrating the one year anniversary of our retail shop - Wagons West Quilt Shop & Studio. The shop is located in Wickenburg, AZ, just a short drive north of the metropolitan Phoenix area. We are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm.
Our little building sits back a bit from the street and can be easy to miss for those visiting for the first time. We spent the past few weekends painting and hanging "quilt blocks" to draw more attention to the shop and the roadside sign.

Lincoln Quilter's Guild in September!
I'm looking forward to visiting the Lincoln Quilter's Guild in Lincoln, Nebraska in September! I will be presenting my trunk show, Birth of a Series on September 11, and teaching Wool Appliqué - Blessings Penny Rug on September 12. We will cover the properties of wool, my wool marking technique, embroidery embellishments, and constructing the penny rug.
